Our Vision
YNPN Seattle commits itself to be a professional society of individuals organized into a local chapter, assisting local members in their professional efforts by fostering the development, recruitment, and retention of young and emerging professionals in the nonprofit sector.
We do this by providing networking, personal, and professional growth opportunities to its members so that those members may better serve their local nonprofit organization and community. YNPN Seattle will enhance their organizational capacity to provide resources, training and services.
What Do We Do?
YNPN Seattle provides young professionals with a sense of community, purpose, and support with the goal of inspiring and guiding future nonprofit leaders. At present, there is a dearth of opportunities for young nonprofit professionals to interact, receive professional and personal support, or share best practices. YNPN Seattle was established to fill that gap. Through meetings, training, social gatherings, and other networking opportunities, young professionals are given the opportunity to make connections and discuss issues that are relevant to them.
